Dane Vallejo is an Associate Fellow, Latin America section, at The Henry Jackson Society (HJS), a London based foreign policy think tank.
He is the author of a number of briefing papers, including "Revaluing our COIN - Moving British counterinsurgency forward in the 21st century" and a soon-to-be published report, "Hugo Chávez and the Real War on Democracy".
He has worked on various other research projects including a campaign run by HJS - Friends of Venezuela - and his work has featured in major publications such as The Commentator and New Europe.
Dane has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Politics from the University of Leicester and an MA in Strategic Studies with Distinction from the University of Birmingham.
